Terms of Use

The rules for using Daily Rival. By creating an account you agree to them. In effect from 2026-11-01.

1. The agreement

Daily Rival is provided by Federico Romiti, Carrer de Martí 8, piso 1, puerta 1, 46005 Valencia, Spain (“we”). These terms are the agreement between you and us for using the app and its website. If you do not agree with them, do not use Daily Rival.

How we handle your personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. Who can play

You must be at least 16 years old. One person, one account: accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or run by software.

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, so keep access to that mailbox to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). That removes your data and cannot be undone.

4. How the game works

You play in private groups. Each group gets one round every 24 hours: a minigame chosen at random, with one attempt per player. Your moves are checked and your score is worked out on our servers; the score shown there is the one that counts.

There is also the Daily, one round that every player gets each day, where you see how your score compares with everyone who played it, and once a day a bonus round that you can unlock by watching an ad. A bonus round is just for fun: it does not count for the Daily, your groups or your streak.

Scores decide who you finish ahead of in your group. Coins, streaks, rankings and seasons are part of the game and have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything.

A missed round can be played late for a limited time by watching an ad. A late score counts for that round, so the round’s standings, and the coins they earn, can change for everyone in the group after it has ended.

5. Fair play

Do not cheat or help others cheat. In particular, do not:

We may correct or remove results obtained by breaking these rules.

6. Names and behaviour

Your display name, your avatar and the names of groups you create are visible to other players. They must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or misleading about who you are, and must not advertise anything or infringe someone else’s rights.

You can report a player or a group from the group’s settings, or write to support@playdailyrival.com. We review reports and may rename or remove content, remove a player from a group, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

You keep the rights to what you write. You allow us to store it and show it to the other members of your groups, which is what makes the game work.

7. Ads

The mobile app shows an ad only when you ask to play a missed round or the bonus round. Ads are provided by Google AdMob; we do not choose them and are not responsible for what they offer.

We cannot promise that an ad will be available. If none can be shown, or you close it before it ends, the round stays locked and nothing else changes.

8. Game content

Questions and answers are compiled from public sources and reflect a date, a place and a way of measuring that we state where it matters (for example a price on a given day). We work to get them right, but they can contain mistakes or go out of date. If you find one, tell us; scores already worked out stay as they are unless we decide to correct a round for everyone.

Names of people, places, products, companies, films, games and other works appear only as subjects of quiz questions. They belong to their owners. Daily Rival is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.

9. Our rights

The app, its games, design, text, sounds and code belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use Daily Rival to play. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, except where the law lets you regardless of these terms.

10. Availability and changes

Daily Rival is free to use. We may add, change or remove games and features, and the service can be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We try to give notice of changes that matter. We may stop offering Daily Rival; if we do, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

11. Ending

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; where it is reasonable, we warn first and say why.

12. What we are responsible for

Daily Rival is a free game provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or that any score, streak or ranking will be preserved.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or harm to life or health.

If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law of your country of residence gives you. These terms do not take any of them away.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Spain. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

If something goes wrong, write to support@playdailyrival.com first: most problems are solved faster that way.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the game changes or the law does. We update the date above and, for changes that matter, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply; if you do not accept them, you can delete your account.
